From: Jan De Messemaeker on 30 Mar 2010 15:07 Hi, The content of the left part of the Gantt View (and copies of it) - the list of visible columns if you want is called a table. Normally the table that comes with the Gantt Chart (the one you modified by changing the columns) is called the Entry table. Try the following: 1. In your new view, View Menu, Table, More Tables, Copy, give a name f.i. My Table 2. View Menu, More Views, select your own view, Edit, and in Table, change to My Table 3. Tools, Organizer, Tables, in Global.mpt window select Entry and copy to your file. The Gantt Chart still being linked to Entry will now show the original columns. From: Andrew Lavinsky on 30 Mar 2010 15:43 Your problem is that you're not creating a new table but modifying the default Entry table. Add a new table, modify that, copy the Gantt, then edit the new view to use your new table. Then if you add fields to the table, it won't affect your default Gantt.
