From: Simoc on 3 Jan 2010 08:14 Hello! I received a Philips 32PF5411 / 10 flat TV set for repair. It turns on, and all the tv's own menu and info graphics are shown ok, but any inserted video signal is not reproduced, just a blank screen. Audio signal is heard normally from the speakers of the set, however. Furthermore, changing channels doesn't work by the "program+/-" buttons on the set itself, so channels can be changed only by the remote. However, those buttons DO work on using of the menu. And one more oddity, in "timer" function on the menu, any values can't be get set on any of the "time" fields (on-time, off-time, and real- time). All other fields in the timer menu can be set. I have already checked the electrolytic caps on the power card and the mainboard by an ESR-meter, and changed bad ones, and I did a rough visual inspection, too. But the symptoms haven't changed at all. Any ideas, and service information for this unit, too, will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
