Of course I have no idea at that point that people cannot call me. This morning I have been able to connect twice and then 15 minutes ago it failed 4 times and then connected. Lynn

Of course that corresponded with my iPhone coming out of its warranty by about 4 weeks though I have spoken to O2 and I am confident that I could get a new iPhone using the Sale of Goods Act if all else fails. I have had a new sim card which made no difference. But then you haven't said if you think it is the same problem or not

Turning 3G off doesn't make any difference, don't know about the apps not quite sure which ones go online without me doing it. Thinking about it Facebook probably does at that is the only thing that 'pushes' notifications to me and I only put that on recently. All my email apps are set to manual. I will turn Facebook 'push' notification off and see if it makes any difference. Interestingly though I can remember being on the internet and a call came through and gave me the chance to accept or decline so I'm not sure. I'll try anything though. Thanks.

Per my earlier, if you are O2 then Asda are doing a Samsung on O2 PAYG at 10 at the moment. Worthwhile backup? -- Woody harrogate three at ntlworld dot com |
