Thanks for that I do have a Motorola that has an O2 PAYG sim in it. It's
sad though that I have to carry 2 mobiles in my bag and of course it doesn't
help with incoming calls as most people wouldn't have that number in their
phones :-)

Taking Push Notifications off Facebook didn't stop the fault, its just taken
3 goes to make a call.

People can then call either sim to the one phone.

That's a good idea, but I really want all the other functionality of the
iPhone which apart from this problem that only started about 6 weeks ago, I
love.

It happens to me on T-Mobile with a HTC TP2 too!
