From: HarrytheK on 20 Feb 2010 15:39 I have a picture in Microsoft Office Picture Manager that I right click on and press Set as Desktop Background. However, when the picture appears as my desktop background, it is so much larger than the actual picture itself that all I see on the desktop is the center of the picture blown up to an absurd proportion. I can't even see the people in the picture. What is causing this and how do I correct it? Thanx
From: Alan Edwards on 20 Feb 2010 16:09 It depends on what operating system you are using and has nothing to do with Office. If XP, then rightclick the desktop and choose Properties. On the Desktop tab use Stretch instead of Center or Tile ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows - Internet Explorer http://dts-l.com/index.htm On Sat, 20 Feb 2010 12:39:01 -0800, in microsoft.public.office.misc, HarrytheK <HarrytheK(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >I have a picture in Microsoft Office Picture Manager that I right click on >and press Set as Desktop Background. Use a third party viewer such as www.xnview.com Right click your image, set as Wallpaper. Xnview is free. -- Mary Sauer http://msauer.mvps.org/ "HarrytheK" <HarrytheK(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:5931CC99-C25C-44B6-BCF6-11BD9342C9E4(a)microsoft.com... >I have a picture in Microsoft Office Picture Manager that I right click on > and press Set as Desktop Background.
