From: Wood on 28 Mar 2008 18:48 When a user tries to configure printer in TS session, settings are not saved for next signon. I already tried solution from KB243942 but does not help. It appears the DkRDPVC and RDPDR keys are not being created under the Local User. Admin User rights make no difference. The client has been upgraded to 6.0.2600.0 already. I do have other clients that connect to the same TS that work. Any ideas would be great. -- Thanks, Wood
From: Frane on 1 Apr 2008 05:11 Can you export registry configuration from working client and import into non working client via registry export/import keys? _______________________________________________________ Frane Borozan Terminal Services and Citrix Presentation Server user logging http://www.terminalserviceslog.com
From: Wood on 17 Apr 2008 10:18 Sorry for the delay, I did try exporting and importing but it would give an error and not work. What did work was deleting the entire key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client". When the user reconnects it rebuilds the key and saves the printer settings correctly. -- Thanks, Wood "Frane" wrote: > Can you export registry configuration from working client and import > into non working client via registry export/import keys? > > _______________________________________________________ > Frane Borozan > Terminal Services and Citrix Presentation Server user logging > http://www.terminalserviceslog.com > >
