Possible, but a pop-up that says "error 39" is not the normal thing for trying to save a read-only file. I did look at one directory in the shell. I was the owner of every file, and the group was my 10.4 group ID. You may remember that Apple in Tiger decided that every user's primary group should be only for them and have the same name and number as their user. Apparently I was not the only person frosted about all the scripts I had to change, so they changed it back and now I have to do the same AGAIN. -- Wes Groleau Methods meddling by amateurs http://Ideas.Lang-Learn.us/WWW?itemid=889

As I stated earlier, it was the icon for an app I don't use and intend to delete. Since the iOS does a chroot (or something similar) on each app, that seemed safe enough. > [not wanting to jailbreak] seems silly to me. Jail breaking is > very easy to do, and undo. I like to play, but I control the urge when I don't have a backup for the TOOL I'd like to play with. -- Wes Groleau What if not everyone uses an expression?
