Two Paradoxes are of arguable relevance at this point to the study of
Quantum Gravity/Unification:

1) Portugal's theory of Curvature-Bending (Gravitational) Spacecraft,
as for example Lobos' and his colleagues in arXiv. This may relate
to Electro-Gravitational or Magneto-Gravitational theories.

2) The curious frequency of Power-Crazy Hedonism in Earth's "advanced"
life forms ("Exobiological Paradox", one can refer to it). This is
somewhat surprising arguably in view of Schrodinger's interest in
relating physics to biology.

The first Paradox emerges as the "opposite" of the viewpoint of
Probable Causation/Influence (PI) presented in recent posts in this
thread, unless of course the viewpoints are complementary in that the
"Curvature-Bending" theorists have in mind a reversal of the
directions of Gravitation and (the Attractive parts of)
Electromagnetism.

The second Paradox may explain the "Fermi Paradox" of Exobiology,
namely (roughly speaking), "Where is everybody (intelligent life
outside Earth)?" It could be arguably that Earth-style "intelligent
life" is so self-destructive that it does not last long enough to
communicate with other such life forms elsewhere, and that Contraction/
Attraction based Electromagnetism (and Gravitation) as means of
communication are characteristic of self-destructive "intelligent"
life, while Macroscopic analogs of Strong and Weak Interactions and/or
Repulsive Electromagnetism are characteristic of Non-Self-Destructive
"intelligent" life.

We may have some species of "lower" semi-intelligent life on Earth,
such as deer, antelope, moose, elephants, dolphins, even hamsters,
guinea pigs, chinchillas, etc. These animals appear to be far less
Violence-oriented than the Ape-Monkey-Human types of "intelligent"
life, and far less Power-Crazy-Hedonist. It may be relevant that
deer for example limit their sexual activity to relatively short
periods each year rather than being perpetually obsessed with it like
most human beings - in this sense, deer are less Emotional than human
beings. If I recall correctly, elephants also have this
characteristic, and yet elephants do not have the super-passive
appearance of deer under many circumstances.

Dolphins also appear to lack most aggression typical of humans-apes-
monkeys, and it is arguably of interest that they communicate largely
by sonar rather than by Electromagnetic means. Humans communicate
directly by sound and vision (the latter Electromagnetic), but seldom
by sonar and of course never by sonar or other non-Electromagnetic
means in attempts to locate non-Earth life. Dolphins, of course, are
among the most "intelligent" non-human animals on Earth. They also
live in an environment where light is curved differently from that in
Earth's atmosphere.

Portugal and Schrodinger's Austria also have some arguably interesting
relationships to Non-Power-Craziness.

1) Portugal has been traditionally anti-bullfighting (which tortures
bulls and not infrequently gores human beings with the public
cheering), unlike neighboring Spain - although yesterday, Spain's
autonomous Catalonia region outlawyed bullfighting.

2) Schrodinger was definitely a Rebel against the Power-Craziness of
the Pro-Nazi part of Austria (which was largely focused in Vienna,
strangely enough), and Schrodinger was more similar to the Non-Power-
Crazy-Non-Hedonist greatness of Austria's Classical Music era of
centuries ago - a remarkable outcome of the Renaissance. He left
Austria in WWII and settled in Ireland as a protest against Hitler,
returning to Austria after the War, where he founded the (Erwin)
Schrodinger Institute of physics.

3) Austria through Schrodinger in physics and through Kurt Godel and
his successors in mathematical logic shows signs of having among the
most advanced "Intelligent" ideas, although its Pro-Nazi tendencies
(mostly in Vienna) were quite the opposite. Godel admittedly showed
some conflicting tendencies of his own, which ended in insanity for
him.

Miguel Alcubierre of U. Wales U.K. actually developed the theory of
the warp drive ("curvature bending"), also studied by Fernando Loup of
Sun Alliance Lisbon Portugal, and by Francisco S. N. Lobo of U. Lisboa
Portugal in 5 arXiv papers. "Lobos" was a typo.
