Actually, I had the output power turned up, so I put it back to default,
but problem continues.
I reflashed to Linksys rom, and problem continues, so it is in the router,
I figure. Maybe having the output power too high caused heat related
degradation.

If you turn up the power you need to do a fan mod.

Just to wrap up this thread , I downloaded the latest firmware from
Linksys, flashed the router and am having no further problems.
