Spoke too soon - is still saying request timed out even when Little
Snitch is off (I misread something earlier).

Console is reporting:

....and I'm getting an entry for that each time it tries to export. I
can't cd into that directory either (can't get it to go into -Caches-,
it keeps thinking I'm trying to pass -C as a command option. Tried
quoting, tried escaping...same thing).

cd ./-Caches- ought to work.....
