From: Tempuser on 23 Feb 2010 12:34 So I finally decided to see what I can do with QT X player. I am running OS X 10.6.2 on a late 2009 iMac. I clicked on the QuickTime Player.app in the Apps folder. All it does is put an icon on the dock. What do I need to do to get the actual player to launch?

I should have added, that I have no problem playing QT movies from the net.

My eyes were not focused on the toolbar and as I clicked somewhere else the Quicktime toolbar would disappear before I would see it. Newbie blues. |
