If you took the energy level high enough, the medium would be
nonlinear.
This would require a little more than a few 2N2222s to do because the
energy involved would be a few times the energy output of the sun but
if you got the energy high enough, the fields would distort space time
enough to make some interesting effects. Try this in some other solar
system please.
