Why wouldn't you want to be cautious about deleting registry items? If you're not sure about deleting something, don't!

I have both RegSupremePro and RegMechanic and RegSupremePro is much better, finds a lot more invalid entries when you do a deep scan than RegMechanic.
From: Steve R on 18 May 2005 18:08 Bin doin that. Some are easy picks but I lack confidence to hit the %System Root\System32 files. Rather than backup, I rely on system restore. It can undo a multitude of sins. Norton Ghost when all else fails. From: On Holidays on 19 May 2005 11:43 Jv16 powertools is the best. Have a few probs with the latest version though. I can delete everything it finds with the older version if i do that with the new one causes problems :( But nothing a reinstall of the deleted stuff can't fix. But whats the point if it deletes needed stuff !!!! See ya. I remember when it was a free prog it would sometimes do that though. Seems like they went from OK>GOOD>OK. EasyCleaner is a free/good regcleaner and never deletes things it shouldn't but again it doesn't find as much as JV16/RegsupremePro does.
