From: Geico Caveman on 21 Feb 2010 03:23 I am using Keynote to put together a presentation. I want the following effect: 1. Event A 2. Event B 3. Event C 4. Event D .... 7. Event A Some of these events are build-in's, others are build-outs. In the drawer, one can re-order events, not copy them. Short of creating a dummy copy of the graphic that I want to reappear in the final transition, is there any way to do this ?

Are you an Apple Keynote fanboi or something? I judge things on their merits. Keynote is very good at what it does (except for the uncompressed file sizes). iPad (I am guessing that is where you are coming from) is pure snake oil. I never signed up to be a lifestyle fanboi for the great Gods of Apple. Where I perceive quality, I will use it. Where I don't, I won't and will say so. I know its complicated for some fanbois to understand such a concept.

You're saying that based largely on pure ignorance, since you haven't actually ever even touched an iPad. So actually you judge things based on ignorance, and what you read on the internet. Not so smart. > I never signed up to be a lifestyle fanboi for the great Gods of Apple. > Where I perceive quality, I will use it. So actually you judge things based > on ignorance, and what you read on the internet. Not so smart. I am an engineer by trade. I do not need to buy an item to evaluate its worth - I can read specs, thank you very much. Do you buy cars to find out their specs ? The specs of an iPad indicate a level of functionality indistinguishable for most practical purposes from an iTouch (with GPS etc. thrown in). Its nothing more than an iTouch for the visually challenged. > >> I never signed up to be a lifestyle fanboi for the great Gods of Apple. >> Where I perceive quality, I will use it. In the fanboi world, there are fellow fanbois and then there are trolls. Obviously, there cannot be any rational users.
