AFAIK you can't. You have to create a new volume, and copy over all the files.

Yes, once you copy open the system folder on the new volume and click on the
system file. This "blesses" the folder so the system knows to boot from it.

Or you could just add a second volume and not bother.

I have run SheepShaver for a long time with two mountable disks plus the
UNIX volume; works just fine.

Now if somebody could just tell me how to get Pro Pinball under SS to
access the CD drive so I can play the soundtrack...

Then you did something wrong.

Get used to it. I've never found the Unix volume to be very stable in
SheepShaver. It's very problematic IME.

For me the Unix volume works as expected. I even made an alias of some
folders on my OSX volume to keep on my OS9 desktop for easy access.
