yeah, Draco; don't know enough Greek history, myself. now, as for
republicanism, note the small R. the first historical republics
in Europe were hardly democratic, but almost no American Republicans,
that I have asked at club meetings, know the meaning
of the word, republic. (it's as if they all read the E.Brittanica,
as toddlers -- I've met all three of them !-)
