Hi,

Until my latest redundancy from Sun (2nd time made redundant by Sun) I
was a SSE mainly working with top end servers (E25k etc) and had to
use the showchs and setchs commands reasonably often. Now I am
contracting to another organisation and I am in the process of setting
up a test server for them. On this system I have a processor that has
been replaced, however it is still chs disabled and I wish to enable
it but this requires the service password (didnt need password on the
25k's). This system is not on any support contract with Sun. Does
anyone know of a default password that I could use to access the
service mode. If so then please supply to me via direct email and I
promise not to disclose to the customer.

Thanks and Regards

If you ever worked for Sun you should know that the service mode
passwords are generated for each system based on host id and other
details. You need to contact sun to get a unique password for your
system.
