eeTimes reports that Micron will start mass producing its new SATA 3.0 SSDs
in October.

An excerpt:
"Available in 50, 100 and 200-gigabyte capacities, the RealSSD P300
drive is targeted primarily at enterprise applications including blade and
conventional servers, storage arrays and high-end workstations, Micron
said. The SSD is designed to fit the standard 2.5-inch form factor and
achieves a read throughput speed of up to 360MB/s and a write throughput
speed of up to 275MB/s, according to the company."

What are the odds that Dell releases a server and a gaming machine then
with a SATA 3.0-capable controller on the motherboard?
