From: erdeepaksood on 12 Dec 2009 22:28 Hi Larry Thanks for promptness, actually i took over this site with no documentation. It is old install. Server has got two NIC cards and was configured with only one. Another NIC card was not connected and I found a dns record 169.x.x.x(APIPA Range). I configured server with two NIC cards and ran CEICW. All clients are using server internal LAN as gateway. And communicating with no problem. Thanks Deepak Sood "Larry Struckmeyer [SBS-MVP]" <lstruckmeyer(a)mis-wizards.com> wrote in message news:73c8i51sf2di3pb719dse3f0931j7e6foj(a)4ax.com... > Hi Dsood: > > Is this a new, fresh stand alone installation, or might it be a swing > migration? > > > On Fri, 11 Dec 2009 20:21:01 -0800, dsood > <dsood(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: > >>Hi Guys >> >>I am having problem with installation of isa 2004. From: Larry Struckmeyer[SBS-MVP] on 12 Dec 2009 22:47 Here are the log files ISA 2004 %sbsprogramdir%\Support\sbsisa2k4setuplog.txt %programfiles%\Microsoft Integration\Windows Small Business Server 2003\Logs\errorlog.txt that are documented here: http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive/2005/11/14/414454.aspx it dosen't get much more official than that. Please see if you can find those logs and if they give you any additional information. I ask about the possibility of a swing migration because, iirc, there is a known condition with one of the exceptions in the swing migration processes that can cause ISA to not install properly. - Larry Please post the resolution to your issue so others may benefit - Get Your SBS Health Check at www.sbsbpa.com > Hi Larry > > Thanks for promptness, actually i took over this site with no > documentation.
