From: Cliff Galiher - MVP on 3 May 2010 16:45 There is also the need to transfer roles since SBS is going away, and this isn't automated during a normal DCPromo (since many larger networks can have more than one DC and distribute the roles.) In short? At this point I think it is time to call in a consultant. Learning about AD is a good skill to acquire, but not at the risk of a live network. And no matter how many questions you ask or how many books you buy, it sounds like you aren't in a position to set up a test lab and experiment, learn, and intentionally break things in the timeframe you need and the resources you have. Bring someone in and learn over their shoulder. It is worth the extra money. -Cliff "kj [SBS MVP]" <KevinJ.SBS(a)SPAMFREE.gmail.com> wrote in message news:evvHU9v6KHA.3504(a)TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > sdmusicmaker wrote: >> First, thanks you guys for helping me with this.
