I've had UNpN Routers even give a "FAIL"
on the wizard saying a port is not open...

In my experience sometimes yes and sometimes no.

Since it sounds like you are new to SBS2008
I recommend some books before you continue.

Recommended Books:
Windows® Small Business Server 2008 Administrator's Companion
http://www.amazon.com/Windows%C2%AE-Business-Server-Administrators-Companion/dp/0735620709/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1241297332&sr=1-3
And OR
Windows Small Business Server 2008 Unleashed
http://www.amazon.com/Windows-Small-Business-Server-Unleashed/dp/0672329573/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1217269967&sr=8-1

These books will help you from losing sleep, pulling your hair out and avoid
issues.

Those are links to Amazon, but you can pick them up at your local borders or
other book store.
(Might even find a copy at the Library.)

Yes, not all UPnP implementations are compliant. And none should be left
enabled after the wizards are done.

It is NOT 'erroring'. It is an information item only, informing you that the
router has UPnP disabled, as should be.

and the problem is?
