From: Craig Lindstrom on 12 Oct 2009 13:28 We recently had a problem where the mailbox store got corrupted. I have since fixed it with eseutil and isinteg and it appears to be functioning fine. The problem I have now is that all email with attachments is rejected. I can send a receive email fine if it does not have an attachment, if I do have an attachment it is rejected with the following details in the email sent back to the sender: #< #5.2.0 smtp;550 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service reported an error. The following information should help identify the cause of this error: "MapiExceptionNotFound:16.18969:32550000, 17.27161:0000000078000000000000000000000000000000, 255.23226:666F3A20, 255.27962:0A000000, 255.27962:25000000, 255.17082:0F010480, 0.27745:80030400, 4.21921:0F010480, 255.27962:FA000000, 255.1494:FA000000, 255.26426:25000000, 4.9780:BFF9FFFF, 4.14900:0F010480, 4.1509:0F010480, 4.7950:0F010480, 255.1750:0F010480, 0.26849:00000000, 255.21817:0F010480, 0.17361:0F010480, 4.19665:0F010480".> #SMTP# I'm pulling my hair out on this one, anyone have any ideas? Apparently all is not well with the database. Create a new database and move the mailboxes in the damaged one to the new database. Then delete the damaged database. > I can send a receive email fine if it does not have an attachment, if I do >have an attachment it is rejected with the following details in the email >sent back to the sender: Probably a problem with the attachments table in the database. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
From: Mark Stansberry Mark on 5 Nov 2009 18:36 Just finished fixing this issue on a user's mailbox. Apparently they had created a rule pointing to a phantom folder causing the delivery to fail. We tried all other suggestions including anti-virus and moving to a new datastore but it was removing that rule that fixed it. Hopefully this can help someone else.
