From: Ivor on 8 Jun 2010 12:25 Just FYI in case anyone is having problems. Now sorted but a few worrying moments. Safari 5 installed and opened but would not load any web pages. Tried re-install, permissions repair, voodoo chant without success. A Google search revealed others with the same problem and it turns out that CosmoPod was the culprit. Uninstalled and Safari now working OK although NatWest won't work with it so far unless using the 4.0.5 user agent. Ivor

I think my problem wasn't related to Safari 5, but it happened when I updated to it. The reboot left me with "No boot disk found - insert boot disk and hit any key". Restarting with option held down - same result. Restarting with Leopard DVD in optical drive - same result. Restarting holding down option with Leopard DVD - same result. Restarting holding down C with Leopard DVD - same result. Restarting holding down T - same result. Then restarted holding mouse button down to eject Leopard DVD (which did boot our other intel iMac, so it should be okay) and the machine started up properly. No idea what the problem was. I've also been having problems with the display not sleeping (does during the day if I leave the machine for 10 minutes, but doesn't at night when I want it to), but I assume that's unrelated. -- Pd
