at my work we have ~50 Lasers and I don't think anyone shuts them off.
I've been there 10 years and some of those LaserJet IIs and IIIs are
STILL running - people don't want to give them up and they refuse to die.

I just bought a ML-2010 from buy.com ($100US with a $50 rebate can't get
much better than that). I was surprised that they supported slackware, even
had it on the box. Anyway, setup was a breeze and the cd seems to have only
linux related stuff. I feel like buying more printers from samsung even
though I don't need more.
