From: bitdog on 11 Feb 2010 02:29 Thanks all.. I fixed my Sanyo dp26648 by working over the ribbon cable as advised. The zif connector was a hinged black flap with a snap hook on each end. Prying up the middle away from the cable, then prying the ends up, worked. The corrosive glue didn't appear to corode the cable in any way, but stuck the cable so firmly that care in pulling the cable away evenly so the cable wouldn't stretch or warp was imperative ? Glue removal by rubbing in one direction rolled it off. Then LPS #1 for a corrosive cleaner/lubricant/corrosion-inhibitor helped make E-contact for the ribbon when reconnected, and then the TV-LCD worked fine. So no parts were required & the real problem seemed to be bad electrical connections on the ribbon cable ends, possibly due to a thin cable in a high pressure socket, directly over a heat source & the cable ends might not be corosion resistant ? I got a free DP26648 & fixed it for free in a half hour.... Thankx again to all bitdog
