I posted the .ZIP file at alt.binaries.freeware if anyone's interested.

A while back I inherited a CanoScan D1250U2F. The scanner I had before this
had the ability to scan directly to a .PDF file, the D1250U2F did not have
this ability (at least not directly built into the driver). So I decided to
create my own. This program has no installer, was created under XP SP3 but
should work for any TWAIN scanner under Win95 and newer.

The program is free to use as you see fit.

Scan2PDF Readme

This is a simple little utility intended for use as a non-installed
program.
Under Windows Vista or Windows 7 the program must be treated as an XP
program.

This program only works with TWAIN scanners. If you have a WIA scanner this
program will not see your scanner and cannot interface with it.

Using the program should be reasonably intuitive. You can change any of the
scan options for any page. One page in B&W, the next in GreyScale, and so
on.
Whatever the setting when the program is closed is what's saved to the
preference
file.

This program is free to use with our compliments. This program was
developed
using PureBasic version 4.41, and uses the EZTwain scanning library,
Included
as the EZTW32.DLL file, and the PurePDF library by ABBKlaus. This program
does
not have an OCR function and will not give you a text searchable .PDF file.

L&H Custom Computer.

Did you post the .ZIP under something besides Scan2PDF? The only thing I
see in the binaries group is the Readme at 6:42AM.

Thanks Ron. That's odd, the .ZIP was attached. I did use Base 64 MIME so
that everyone could get it (the file wasn't that large anyway. It shows up
here as attached.

Oh well, I'll post it to a file sharing service, any recommends anyone?
