So I need an experiment or experiments to prove whether lightwaves can
or cannot be
Doppler shifted. I need direct experiments. By direct we can easily
prove sound
waves can be Doppler shifted for we simply stand near a railroad track
for the
whistle or horn to sound off. But we cannot attain any sort of speed
to test
lightwaves.

But I do recall of a method to obtain a very high mechanical speed. I
call it the
Scissors phenomenon. The pointed end of the blades of scissors as you
quickly close
them, obtains a very rapid speed. Of course, little effort on the
fingers closing the
scissors.

Now if we make a instrument that is similar to the scissor's blades
made of
two light beams rather than two metal blades where we quickly close
the
light beams.

And if these two scissor's blade light beams were of white light, we
can
measure for a blueshift as the blades are closed. We can measure for
a redshift on a quick opening of the light-beam-blades.

Now instinctively, anyone reading this, is going to think that the
white light
beams remain white light throughout the closing or opening.
