Kompozer and SeaMonkey = same codebase. The Kompozer guy is working on both.

Thanks for the link. I had a look, but now I have a few questions.
What's the WebPI? The page says it's needed before you can install
VSE--is that true? Is Silverlight a necessary part of the download
before the tools can be used? Has anyone got experience uploading to
their hosts; if so, how did it work?

Have you given Alleycode html editor a try? it's free, and hasn't messed up
any html files I've loaded into it so far. :)
