From: Barbara - Austria on 12 Feb 2010 04:04 Hi Az., Are you resources 'organized' in groups? Group X Shift - A in January Group X Shift - B in February Group X Shift - C in March Group Y Shift - B in January Group Y Shift - C in February Group Y Shift - A in March ….. If you have that situation you could create a calendar for each group. In these calendar you need to use Tab 'Work Weeks'. Create a line for each month with Start and Finish and enter your working time in Details… It is some work more in the beginning, one line for each month in three calendars…. But you will not need to change resource calendars each month and your schedules will not be messed up. Does that help? Hi Az., sorry, I think my description was misleading since I have tested before writing the post. I will give it another try. What I wanted to tell: if there are e.g. 3 groups with their shift rhythm, you could create one calendar for each of these groups (calendar X for members of group X, calendar Y for members of group Y, calendar Z for members of group Z). For each of these calendars define the appropriate shift hours for each month. Assign one of these calendars to your resources. Make sure that your project calendar allows working 24hrs a day. If you want to, you can give me your e-mail address, so I can send my example.
