From: Rajkumar on 3 Apr 2010 03:49 Hi, We have both SPS 2.0 and SPS 3.0 on same small business server 2003. The port used by SPS 2.0 was changed to 81 after installing SPS 3.0. But we found "Monitoring and Reporting" site became not accessible due to this port changes. So we changed the ports as 81 for SPS 3.0 and 80 for SPS 2.0. Now each time user open the SPS 3.0 site it asks for user name and password. Also while opening any Shared Document it again asks for the password even if we checked in the "remember my password" option while opening the site. Kindly give the solution to this problem. With Best Regards, Rajkumar

From: Bob Lin (MS-MVP) on 6 Apr 2010 13:18 This issue can be caused by changing default Companyweb site URL on SBS 2003. Please perform the steps below to check Internet Explorer settings: 1. Start Internet Explorer, and then click Internet Options on the Tools menu. 2. Click the Security tab, and then click Trusted sites to add the WSS 3.0 site. 3. Click Custom Level and click the “Automatic logon with current username and password” box. 4. Click OK and let me know the result. If the issue still remains, please help to create a new web application and a new site on WSS 3.0 to check whether the same issue occurs or not. -- Bob Lin, Microsoft-MVP, MCSE & CNE Networking, Internet, Routing, VPN Troubleshooting on http://www.ChicagoTech.net How to Setup Windows, Network, VPN & Remote Access on http://www.HowToNetworking.com "Rajkumar" <Rajkumar(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:476C648D-BF6A-4D5B-B5BD-2B8170EEF9C2(a)microsoft.com... > Hi, > > We have both SPS 2.0 and SPS 3.0 on same small business server 2003.
