Not sure about Eire though - I guess mobile connections get a bit confused across the border!! However be very aware that texts in Europe cost about 11p - and you can't monitor your balance for free (if at all). Also calls are 35p to send (about 12p to receive). Also be aware that there is a technical problem that after making a call and then hanging up does not mean that a roaming call is actually disconnected. I briefly called my brother in the Nederlands to arrange a meet up. Then I hung up. But somehow the connection didn't clear and my S2 remained connected for 20 minutes thereby using up all my remaining credit. CJB. |
