From: Tony on 7 Jan 2010 06:52 As the title, I am trying to get access to POP3 email on the S2, but many free POP3 servrs now require SSL and I am not sure if the S2 can do it? Getting my email to any POP3 system is not a problem as I can forward it anywhere, but the problem appears to be that most free POP3 servers (Hotmail, Googlemail, etc) need you to use SSL to access the service for both POP3 and SMTP. Can the S2 handle this? Alternatively, can anyone recommend a good POP3 service that works without SSL I currently use my POP3 service from my ISP, but I am trying to get everything working independant of my ISP. Also I have an old POP3 access from wanadoo, but this wont allow me to send any mail via the SMTP server, as I am not connecting directly from the ISP. My email can be forwarded to any POP3 server from my domain provider, so I just need a good POP3/SMTP system to work with the S2. Thanks a lot
