Any idea why it persits? I have Photoshop > Elments but not Photoshop on this Mac Mini. Apple's RAW Camera Updates have nothing to do with Photoshop. They are used by iPhoto and Aperture. That's what we were talking about in the above messages. There is no version 4 of Apple's RAW Camera Update. Adobe has its own "Adobe Camera Raw" (and DNG Converter) updates. Confirmed. It hit the place I was working at, a few of us were fine because we had MacsBug and we also recognised the error it showed on the screen, the remainder of the mostly print and data capture staff were screwed by it. External boot was the only way back. Cannot for the life of me remember if it was a 6 era or 7 era update though. I -think- 7 era, but not totally sure. Of course the panic wasn't that widespread either, because things didn't have autoupdates or constant internet connections then so you had to manually go out of your way to install it. Once a handful died, people got the message. Cheers, Ian

I don't recall it happening on the 10.6.2 MBP - just the Mini on 10.5.8 -- duncank |
