Yes, Google has always done a great job of keeping out spam from its usenet reader. Too bad it can't do the same for spammers posting from Google Groups. Gmail is also brilliant when it comes to lack of spam, lucky if I get one spam a year, so I've never had to stupidly obfuscate my usenet email address like many do on here. I get no spam using Windows Live Mail and a very large keyword filter. I get about 99.9% of the regular mass flooding type of spam. The main thing I don't get is the kook's that change their email regularly or spoof.
