Just to clarify; When you say "appear in all shots taken with my Canon" it what way did this information appear before? In the file "Info" window, as part of the image, as information in a Spotlight search? or perhaps under the file name when shown in the finder? What software are you using to view these Canon files? Canon bundled SW Preview iPhoto CS2/3/4 or PSE GraphicConvertor some other image viewer Are you referring to EXIF & Metadata -- Regards, Savageduck

What is going to show here can be limited, but mostly it should look like this; http://homepage.mac.com/lco/filechute/Get%20info-01.jpg The only thing I can think of is, you might have failed to expand the "More Info:" panel by clicking on the toggle arrow on the left. > > > or perhaps under the >> file name when shown in the finder? >> >> What software are you using to view these Canon files? >> > > Preview In Preview the information should be found via the "Inspector" This "radio button" is not part of the default set in the toolbar. So from the menu select View->Customise Toolbar. http://homepage.mac.com/lco/filechute/Preview-view-01.jpg Now you will be able to customise the Toolbar and add "Radio buttons" to taste by dragging items to the Toolbar. Include the "Inspector" button. Now when you open an image in Preview, click on the "Inspector" button, and a window will open giving you all available information for that image file (EXIC, Metadata, GPS, etc.) > >> Canon bundled SW >> Preview >> iPhoto >> CS2/3/4 or PSE >> GraphicConvertor >> some other image viewer >> >> Are you referring to EXIF & Metadata > > I dont know. -- Regards, Savageduck

Yup. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OSX ....but why would you care Rich. You have pretty much declared you don't care too much for any flavor of Apple product. That is unless you would like to use OSX's foundation in Unix as a rationalization to join us. -- Regards, Savageduck
