From: Nick Naym on 28 Mar 2010 10:58 Was this changed in SL? I've reindexed Spotlight (first I tried via MainMenu (the old free version, v. 1.7.4)...but it ran a brief effort -- _too_ brief to be believable; I then did it via the Privacy window, which ran a reindexing that lasted several hours). Items in the Trash still don't show up when I search with Spotlight...but they show up when I use Find Any File. -- iMac (27", 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD) OS X (10.6.2)

I don't recall this ever being different in earlier versions of Mac OS X. > but they show up when I use Find Any File. That's because Find Any File pays no attention to where a file is located and will find it even if it is in trash. -- David Empson dempson(a)actrix.gen.nz
