SATA ports on the ASUS M4N78 PRO motherboard? I am thinking of buying an ASUS M4N78 PRO motherboard. It has six SATA ports. The manual says that ports five and six must be used in RAID or AHCI mode. Problem with Promise PCI SATA controller I bought a 2 tb SATA hard drive and a Promise FastTrack 376 (tm) PCI controller card. The card detects the drive but the drive does not show up in Windows XP's disk manager. The card came with no printed instructions. Need to make a single 3TB partition Bought a dual-disk USB enclosure and a couple of 1.5TB drives to put into it. First of all, the enclosure has a built in concatenation feature.
