Is there a universal shortcut key that can be used for text strike through.

Its somehting that I use a lot and it would be dead handy.

Create one. System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts >
Application Shortcuts > "+" > "All Applications", "Strikethrough",
(command-option-etc-whatever).

It worked for me just now in Pages. It should work in any app that has
a "Strikethrough" menu item.

Doesnt work in stickies however :(

Correct, as that does not have a strikethrough menu item.
