It is OK if you do not see any reason to refer to dual model or string
theory, even if these theories have been also able to deliver the same
J=k M^2 you are so fond of. But it is more surprising that you also
choose to ignore the empirical data, even if you said you know it.

Do you mean Nottale?. In some sense, the same criticisms applies. He
does a selection effect, by choosing experimental facts that he can
fit in his framework. And he ignores or forgets that some of these
facts are exactly the same in the mainstream theory. Take his
calculation of the electron mass, for instance. In renormalisation
theory, it is expected (and taught in textbooks) that the correction
to the mass of the electron, when evaluated at Planck scale, must be
of the same order that the electron mass itself. To this, Nottale
simply put a concrete value to the "same order" coefficient; he sets
it to 3/8, on the only grounds that it is a well known fraction in GUT
theories. But he goes to tell that the formula is due to Self-Similar
theory, and he does not tell that it was already known from standard
quantum field theory.

Yes of course, you were not posting to argue, nor to get any
feedback. Posting to illuminate, were you? I am never sure of the
goal of threads as yours. In some case, I think that the poster wants
to keep some status of knowledge in some inner circle of him, out of
the internet. But most cases seem to be some internal urge,
unjustified. Faith-propaganda, perhaps. Dunno.

One part Denial + one part Anger = Expected Response.

Wait until the light comes on in that dim little place.

Then comes the Depression.

Are you describing your own feelings right now?

Do we need some remedial math here, Alejandro?

Is this what you mean by "irrational expresions".

Do you know how many times terms like 1/(sqrt 2) turn up in QM, for
instance?

No.

But I am sensing some definite anger coming from your cage.

Try yoga breaths or chant Om Ma Ni Pad Me Hum.

Best of luck,
