Hi all,

I got the usb stick as indicated in the subject. I recompiled the
video4linux modules with the hack given in:

http://linuxtv.org/hg/~mkrufky/teledongle/rev/676e2f4475ed

but it doesn't work, in particular, I dont have video0 file in the /
dev/dvb/adapter0 directory. I got
demux0 dvr0 frontend0 net0

but no video0.

My /var/log/messages is:

You may need to load up the necessary firmware to get the
tuning adapter to work.

Check the Digital TV Wiki at

<http://linuxtv.ORG/wiki/>

and relevant page for your device.

Also it would be helpful when posting such questions that you
provide some details of your hardware device IN the body
of the posting, including brand name, model name, video
device type ATSC/DVB-s/DVB-t/DVB-c etc, instead of assuming
everybody knows to what you are referring.

Looks fine to me.

http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/xine
http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/gxine
http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Kaffeine
http://www.tvdr.de/ (plus http://home.vrweb.de/~rnissl/)

etc. – take your pick... I use gxine (with xine-lib 1.2) and VDR.
