From: eastender on 20 Apr 2010 04:10 I've just connected a G5 (1.6GHz base unit) to a Mini via target disk mode (via an external drive) using firewire 400 as I want to work using the G5's two disks today. Works fine except the G5's fans have ramped up to almost full blast - any idea why? E.

It's not a major issue, just a "it would be nice" kind of thing.
