Because this is a shared-IP zone, you can't do network configurations from within the zone. You do them from the global zone with zonecfg. sys-unconfig won't help. I wonder if this is because you're trying to use a network that the global zone isn't using. The global zone has to have a route in place or the non-global zone can't use it. Try bringing up an interface on that network in the global zone before starting the non-global zone. You can take the interface down again afterward. -- Darren |
