From: BertieBigBollox on 18 Dec 2009 06:05 Got an twinhead laptop that I'm installing Solaris 10 onto. During install, network interface is not found, but on the HCL someone has suggested the use of a gani driver. I built one of these a few months ago and the gani driver worked a treat. Had to install gcc etc first and build it but it worked. Building the same laptop again but this time I'm doing the make install but then getting the above error when doing adddrv.sh... Anyway, checked /etc/driver_aliases and theres an entry there for pci10ec, 8169 as rge? Cant remember touching this file before? Any ideas?

Just "rem_drv rge" then and install the gani driver. > > Last time I did this the gani driver worked a treat.... Thomas
