Dude, quite frankly you have become a broken record. I must agree that
direct modeling is only a way to hack into history based modeling and
has very few uses. Plase get a grip. Parametrics can only work in a
history and managable environment.

Poor clueless is so clueless it's usually funny.
Did you follow his problems with drilling holes with MasterCAM?
And remember that he's been posing as a MasterCAM expert for
about a decade?
What a hoot.
He never knew the larger holes were larger than the smaller ones ....
He never thought of checking.
He never wondered why it worked just fine for everyone else.
He never bothered to look at the instructions.
He never bothered to look at his claimed screen &active
menus/data entry fields.
He never bothered to ask co-worker.
Clearly he never watched those claimed videos he claimed he
bought.

He's not even a beginner user. IF even that (which I doubt).

You're clueless, Mike. History based modeling is a dead end and
Siemens knows it. Suggest you get clue one and read what Dan Staples,
Siemens lead developer for Solid Edge, has to say rather than
continuing to make yourself look like an idiot.

PTC also knows how limited history based modeling is and their saying
it with their marketing of CoCreate.

Another outstanding Banquer prediction. You mean a company that's
trying to sell a direct modeling product, is claiming direct modeling
is the only way to go? Wow! Who woulda thunk it? Thanks for that
terrific info, Captain Press Release.

This is almost as funny as your prediction of machining becoming a
backyard "machine-in-a-shed" industry because there isn't enough work
to support high end equipment.
