We don't use 1970's assembly language notation, we do all of our programming in a C cross compiler running on Windows. Well la dee dah. And I went and checked on CSS, and it *has* gone up past $100, or 0x100 for those who disdain the traditional assembly language. So look here, matey, I know a dead parrot and this thread is a dead parrot.

God no, I don't do any coding on Windows, cross compiled or otherwise, not even Speccy stuff. My message did assume that the reader had some sense of humour, and knowledge of c.s.s in-jokes - perhaps a bad move in a thread that specifically included C64 owners and Americans. Its a cross group thread. Youse poms at CSS have more posts in it, but. And you should take great care when cross posting inside jokes from CSS on CSC. CSC is a very clean group. It is, for example, singularly uncontaminated with humour.

Bloody oath, its a good thing youse guys gave it a rest most of this thread. A joke on CSC is almost as unlikely as a wicketkeeper hitting 24 in one over in the Ashes.

That makes me wonder about something. What does one of those guys carrying a Spectrum around do when he comes across a babe with an exceptionally hard head? Besides having his Spectrum break into many small pieces that is... -- Best regards, Sam Gillett Change is inevitable, except from vending machines! |
