I don't think there's much wrong with a small developer putting an ad in for their services every once in a while. Especially when the developer spends so much time "helping" others in this group. I have helped lots of people, though many of them resisted my efforts furiously, right up until the point of the inevitable epiphany.

Struggling beginners (of questionable mental faculties in your case) are often unable to grasp the capabilities of those with considerably more experience. I'm reminded of one guy (who didn't know HTML from HVAC) telling me not to "waste time trying" to make a simple form work in IE6. Clearly he was projecting his own level of proficiency (which, as far as he knew was fairly high). Intelligent people, who can put aside their own egos, know how to use delegation to their benefit. ;) |
