I kept hearing about Twitter and signed up for an account. It's
something I feel I should be interested in and part of, but it's
another thing I just 'don't get.' :(

That makes sense
Twitter is growing fast so some might have a use for it, but as it
costs Three little to implement, it doesn't justify the big across the
board price increases.

It's a sign of incompetence from Threes tariffs dept not to offer
more than one payg tariff.

Mind you such stupidity isn't new, Orange tariffs dept spent millions
on it's patronising animals totem tariffs.
and then compounded that stupidity by not getting rid of them.

Lets hope Three tariffs dept see the light and not attempt to
rival them

I dedicate this thread to mobile network tariff managers,
without whom anything is possible.

Thje Three leaflet states:

"TWEET for FREE" Free Twitter on all our phones until the end of
April"

On p.8/9 it states this but only for PAYG.

As the OP was titled: Free Twitter until end of April - then you pay.

Ah, I see what you're getting at. Free Twitter for all 3 customers
ends at the end of April. They've announced Free Twitter after then
for PAYG customers, but haven't said anything about what happens to
contract customers.

I suspect it's simply an over-sight. It would seem odd to offer free
Twitter to PAYG customers but not pay monthly ones.

I've just been looking at 3's PAYG and contract deals. I wish they
offered coverage here. :(

Does 3 now offer GPRS Internet access (via Orange) in areas where they
don't have 3G coverage?
