There is always a war on between the capitalists and the anarchists.

And that won't change with this new technology.

And sadly the people in charge are not as intelligent as the people who
big business can pay. Microsoft got away with the stuff they did because
they hired the smartest people to work for them. The time was right too
because at that time when the net started and still today there were
laws for the rich and laws for the poor.

Essentially the courts were already corrupt. Easy pickings for smart
capitalists. And law enforcement they were not trained in computers so
how would they know what was a bug and what was designed to take out the
competeition illegally?

Right? And then if one person in the courts was smart enough, how easy
to look in his or her closet since no one is perfect or put something in
someone's closet, and sure people like that politicians included
sometime appear in the news having blown their own brains out and no one
knows why really.

So again as realists we can't expect human nature or the capitalist
system to be any different tomorrow as it is today.

But have we EVER learned a lot in teh last 20 years about how to avoid
some of these pitfalls.

Sadly the ones who could have saved us from popups the universities and
the professors, turned out to be morons too.

"Well if you stop popups, you have to stop dialog boxes"

Meanwhile when they do anything they use a log file and look in there
for why an error occurred. Because they don't like popups.

So its not as if alternate methods could not have been made. Somehow,
the concept of popups is like preying on the general population who are
not able to protect themselves. They don't know that you can switch
browsers, and get script blockers like Firefox with NoScript a simple
little add on that stops all scripting behaviors unless you permit it.

It makes you have to do a bit yourself, but that is what you have to
protect your happy place. At the same time maybe 30% of the population
is still using Internet Explorer with full advertising taking over maybe
60% of their screen or more. Maybe they always have 20 popups on their
desktop at all times.

Simply because no one is protecting them from the criminals.

So then the UN wants to police the net. Lets translate that into 65% popups.

You know the universities in this have been a great disappointment.

I don't know why, but they did not have the intelligence when needed.

And as such they will be replaced by this technology since they failed.
The way the world works is it does not tolerate failures of this
magnitude. In fact they are right now, making pages for Wikipedia and
making themselves redundant.

They think they are just trying to make sure that in Wikipedia it
doesn't say "Aliens did that" or "God is doing that"

So their last hurrah's as they write themselves into obscurity will in
the end make up for their collective failure. They will become one with
the net. Be absorbed. Resistance is futile.
