Yesterday, I Googled for it and found somebody else with the problem.
Lost the link though. Cause was unknown as best I could determine.

I am still using the default firewall of Window$. Why do you need more
than that? You using your Window$ to run services?

Thanks, BB. I do remember though, that when I was running Comodo last
time I was able to turn off HIPS and that helped a lot.

Looks like Online Armor may be what I'm looking for though.

I'm using PC Tools Firewall Plus on my other computer, but I don't use
that computer very often. It mostly sits in a box in my storage room.

This site is a good one, though slightly dated, and it keeps referencing
