When editing file permissions on a Unix Tru64 server through DW 8 I get the
error

"Setting access properties failed for: <Filename>

For additional information check the FTP log"

But the site ftp log is blank. As I download files the log addes additional
blank lines, but no text. Is there a setting to record ftp info to the log
file I need to check? Has anyone had success or know of a listing of
compatible servers for the file permission utility in DW?

I am having the same problem. I would also like to know if there is a list of compatible servers for the file permission utility for DW 8. We are a Unix environment running Apache.
